AQUAPLANNING RESISTANCE, WET GRIP & GOOD BRAKING COMES FROM THE FOLLOWING FEATURES
- All round and well phased lateral grooves.
- Long, deep and high angle shoulder lateral groove to assist water drainage, promote wet grip and braking.
- SM6000 has a specially designed tread pattern with three main grooves and two secondary grooves. This design ensures efficient water ejection.

THE NEW MULTI-RADIUS FLAT TREAD PROFILE
Multi-radius Flat profile Enhance The Following Advantages:
- Even tread tension distribution to provide even wear.
- Better road holding and therefore superb handling performance.
- Enable deep shoulder groove design without the danger of exposing the breaker. This will ensure good wet grip and braking performance throughout the tyre life.

THE U-BEAD PROFILE
The U-Bead profile is to prevent air trap between the tyre and rim, thus ensuring a good and firm fitting between the two. This helps to improve the ride quality in terms of smoothness.

THE HANDLING PERFORMANCE – flatter and multi-radius optimized tread profile
- This profile provides wider and better road contact even in extreme cornering condition.
- Narrower longitudinal groove at shoulder region to enable the design of wider and rigid shoulder block to ensure super responsive handling.
- Rib-alike blocks and the two minor continuous ribs at crown for steering feel and straight ahead stability.

QUIETNESS/ LOW NOISE
- Tapered Groove Edge – Helps to reduce sensitivity towards road irregularities.
- Low angle grooves at crown ribs for breaking down rib stiffness without further inducing pattern noise.
- Casing is constructed with softer casing material for better ride comfort.
